Growing outside the garden

Please accept my apologies as I have neglected my monthly updates, but for good reason! We have opened a brick & mortar location in Winter Park, FL. When the opportunity to rent a small retail space inside of my friend Sara’s nail salon came up, I had to jump on it. It has long been a dream of mine to turn ONE SUN into something more than just a pop-up, and I could not have imagined a better way to grow our small business.

Nestled in the Audubon Park neighborhood in Winter Park (Orlando, FL), our new retail location will serve as a flower and plant shop, botanical boutique, and workshop space. For the last two and a half years, I have spent my weekends setting up and breaking down a tent at markets all over Florida, and while I have loved being a part of so many wonderful events, that sort of physical labor can really wear on the body, especially if you are farming Monday-Friday.

Can we take a moment for this gorgeous light?

This opportunity now gives me a chance to get our flowers and the flowers from other local flower farms out into the community and will help me get back into the garden to create more content, and a home for a lot more workshops and special events. It truly is a full-circle moment, as I have added indoor plants to the inventory, and my love for dried flowers was born when managing a local plant store years ago. It feels amazing to bring a long developed vision to life, and to work so closely with other talented women. An actual dream come true.
